2023 was a busy year for PSPA. A year of growth and investment which saw the charity launch new services and invest in research and awareness.

Thanks to support from Global’s Make Some Noise, PSPA’s Link Volunteer Scheme was launch in February 2023, and the Masonic Foundation Trust helped us to expand our support to carers of people living with PSP & CBD.

We also recruited Dr Robert Durcan to the role of PSPA Research Fellow, who will be looking into symptomatic treatments for PSP & CBD across the next three years, and help our second International Research Symposium with CurePSP.

To help summarise the achievements from 2023 and to set out our hopes for 2024, we have produced an Impact Report.

In the report, you will find details of what we have achieved against our three strategy goals, which focus on:

  1. Support and Information
  2. Research and Awareness Raising
  3. Involvement.

You can also read accounts from PSPA volunteer, David Pugh, and PSP & CBD researcher, Dr Ed Jabbari, about how PSPA has supported them and how they are helping the community in return.

Towards the back of the report, you can find breakdowns of our income and expenditure, as well as comments from people we have supported during 2023.

View our the achievements you have helped to make possible, here.
