Exiting news – Edition 3 of our magazine, PSPA Matters, is now available to download or listen to.
This edition is full of updates from the PSP & CBD Community, including research, support, fundraising and personal experiences.
In the magazine we take a fond look back on our Family and Friends Day, which took place in July in Windsor. This much missed event, was the first of these days to be held since the pandemic and was a great opportunity for families to connect with each other as well as listen to updates from researchers and PSPA.
You can also learn more about the support we offer to carers, meet another member of our Helpline team and read about how clinical psychologists work as part of MDTs to offer support to people living with PSP & CBD, as well as family members.
In research news, we hear from Professor Huw Morris about the new Early Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment of Parkinson’s Plus Related Syndromes (ExPRESS) study. This study has been made possible thanks to government funding, announced in July.
In addition, you can read an update on PSPA funded research and an insight into what neurodegeneration is.
Our fundraisers continue to take on marvellous challenges and tasks for PSPA. You can read about Andrew Coney’s amazing Walk for Lindsay, why Claire Wells has left a gift to PSPA in her Will and also how different businesses are supporting PSPA.
