This Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a massive thank you to our dedicated volunteers for all their hard work and support.
As part of our activities thanking volunteers, we will be sharing details of the impact they have helped us to create within the PSP & CBD community.
The infographic below, shares insight into just a few examples of how our volunteers have helped us to provide support and information to as many individuals and families living with PSP & CBD, as well as to educate healthcare professionals about the conditions during 2023.
In addition, since the beginning of 2024, volunteers have helped to provide 442 hours of support.
In addition, we will be hosting a couple of online events for our volunteers, brining them together to catch up as well as giving us a chance to show thanks for all their support.
Online party for PSPA volunteers
We will be hosting an online party for volunteers on Tuesday 4 June, 7pm to 9pm.
This celebration is our way of thanking all volunteers for the amazing things they do for PSPA. It will also gives a chance for volunteers, old and new, to catch up.
Online celebration for Helpline Volunteers
We are also hosting a second online celebration – this one specifically for our fantastic Helpline volunteers.
As well as 2024 marking 30 years since PSPA was established as a charity, marks 10 years of the evening Helpline service.
Our evening Helpline is manned by volunteers between 7pm and 9pm and over the 10 years, more 30 volunteers have donated their time to help provide essential support and information.
Thank you PSPA volunteers. We look forward to continuing to work together to create a better future for everyone affected by PSP & CBD,
