What is CBD?
Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) is a degenerative brain disease that affects people from the age of 40 onwards.
What is PSP?
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) is a neurological condition caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain.

A wide range of information and support is available to those affected by PSP and CBD from PSPA and statutory services.
For Professionals
Through our information and education we support local health and social care providers to gain a greater understanding of the care needs of people with PSP or CBD.
For Carers
Caring for someone with PSP or CBD is likely to be a new role for you and one you never expected to take on. Remember we are here to support you in your role as a carer.

We work to ensure the 10,000 people living with PSP or CBD receive support and care that is co-ordinated, has continuity and is compassionate. We rely entirely on voluntary donations.
