What is The Big Half?
Organised by London Marathon Events, The Big Half is a vibrant, inclusive half marathon with a fun, festival atmosphere! The 13.1 mile course weaves through London from Tower Bridge to the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
#WeRunAsOne
We Run as One is a campaign that shines a light on the incredibly diverse running communities that take part in The Big Half each year. With a mission to empower runners of all backgrounds and experiences and to feel the mental and physical health benefits of the sport – it’s time to open up the conversation and make running accessible to all!
While PSPA does not purchase charity places in this event, the organisers have made it easy for our supporters to sign up for their own place. The cost is just £56 to take part.
Since you would be arranging your own place, there is no set fundraising target to meet. For a half-marathon we would suggest starting with a goal to raise at least £300 and then taking it from there! If you need additional guidance on this, we are happy to help.
All runners pledging to raise funds for PSPA are eligible for a PSPA running top to wear for your race day – great to wear it for training to as it gives you the opportunity to talk about what you are doing and why.
