Working for PSPA

PSPA is a UK charity providing support and information to families living with PSP & CBD, as well as educating healthcare professionals and funding research.

Here, a few of the PSPA team share what they enjoy most about working for the charity.

James Holden, Community and Corporate Fundraising Manager

“There are many reasons why I like my role here at PSPA. Apart from the cause, and the incredible, supportive, awareness-building work we do, I love that I get to see first-hand all the fantastic, varied things our supporters are doing! I see the inspirational ways they give up their time and spend their energy raising vital funds and helping us promote this charity. It’s inspiring, and no two days are alike.”

Cathy Moughton, Helpline Care Navigator

“On the PSPA Helpline it is so important to listen and provide information and support that is specific to the person calling and, in a way, they can understand. A lot of time it is just the listening ear that is so vital and for the person to be speaking to somebody that has knowledge of the conditions. I really enjoy being involved with the Regional Support Groups and getting out to meet the people we support when we are able to again.”

Vivian Zhang, Office Administrator

“As well as enjoying my role, the thing I like most about working for PSPA is the knowledge I’ve gained and being able to help people living with PSP & CBD. Bringing a little bit of light into peoples’ life through the services we provide, and support them through their journey, that why I chose to work for PSPA.”
