Volunteer support during the coronavirus

In support of the NHS Volunteering initiative, PSPA volunteers will be helping people living with PSP & CBD in their area.

So far, more than 30 volunteers have signed up to help out by collecting prescriptions, getting essential shopping items or regularly staying in contact with isolated individuals, by telephone or video calls.

If you are self-isolating and would like some company over the phone or a few errands run for you, you can request support from PSPA volunteers by emailing volunteering@pspassociation.org.uk

Requests are being logged and paired with volunteers who live local to you. However, please note, we don’t currently have enough volunteers to cover the whole UK. If you or a family member isn’t self-isolating and has some spare time, volunteers can register to help out by emailing volunteering@pspassociation.org.uk or by completing a micro volunteer form, here.

Please note training and PSPA passes, to allow you to travel and collect shopping and prescriptions, will be issued before you begin your volunteering role.
