A huge congratulations to Team PSPA for completing the 100 miles of this year’s Ride London–Surrey.
Many of our riders smashed their target times, and all had an unforgettable experience making their families, friends, and everyone at PSPA very proud of their efforts First across the line was Fiennes Davey. Cycling for his father, Charles, who has recently been diagnosed with CBD, he completed the course in an impressive 4 hours 35 minutes.
Next was Charles Peacock, an ardent PSPA supporter, who completed the course in a superb 4 hours 47 minutes. Charles, whose mother Susan lived with PSP, led a team of four made up of his wife, Sarah, sister Clare Sellors, and niece Emma Bond. Along the way Charles bumped into (thankfully not literally) Roger Green, another member of Team PSPA who finished in just over 5 hours. Team GB member Darren Ford cycled in support of his Dad, who lives with PSP. Darren finished well below his estimated time and can be very proud of his achievement.
Dave Trevaskus completed the Team PSPA line-up, and was cheered on by his family. Dave fought his way through the tailbacks and hold-ups to complete the 100 miles in memory of his father-in-law, David Clifton. Well done to all!
Next year’s event promises to be even bigger, and even more popular, so now is the time to sign up and secure your place for PSPA!
