CHARITY PLACE APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED!

Ahead of  the SOLD OUT 2024 event, we are now accepting applications of interest to run for #TeamPSPA in 2025!  As well as registering your interest in charity places for the iconic London Marathon, we would like to ask all prospective applicants to please enter the official ballot when it opens on Saturday 20th April 2024! Details on the ballot are here https://www.tcslondonmarathon.com/

By applying to both this increases our chance to build the biggest team of dedicated supporters we can. The public ballot is only open for a limited time so don’t delay! If you are granted a charity place, and then successful in the ballot, you can release your charity place allowing us to grow the team with another supporter.

We will begin to allocate charity places by mid-June, 2024. The general ballot results will be in October.

For charity places, we ask all runners to raise a minimum of £2500, excluding gift aid. Ballot place, Good For Age, Club Runners, can set your own fundraising target. Fundraising generated by this iconic event helps create a better future for people living with PSP & CBD.
Our support to our #TeamPSPA runners is exactly the same regardless of how you come to have your place!

All our Marathon fundraisers will receive support where needed, including an exclusive WhatsApp group, where both current and past PSPA runners can come together to support, inspire and mentor you. We will provide you with a PSPA running top on request to help you raise awareness and promote your challenge. Additional promotional materials such as sponsor forms, PSPA balloons, flags, clappers, fact cards and leaflets are available on request.

Got your own place?

Use your place to raise funds for PSPA and you’ll receive the same support as our charity place runners including a running top. The biggest difference is you get to set your own fundraising target! Let us know you have a place already and we’ll send you links for setting up your fundraising page, and joining our WhatsApp chat.

Applications are open! For us to build the strongest team possible, please include any details on the form below which will help us make our decision. If you are running on behalf, or in memory of, someone special and can share their name, that will help us link up any family connections on our records.

PSPA charity places in the 2025 London Marathon are limited, and not all applications will be successful unfortunately. We ask our runners to raise a minimum of £2,450, excluding Gift Aid. This figure helps us fund our fight against PSP & CBD.

Entry cost of £50 within 30 days of offer of place. All Marathon fundraising to be completed by 30 June 2025.

    • I would like to participate in the 2025 London Marathon for PSPA and pledge to raise a minimum of £2,450 (excluding Gift Aid) which is to be paid across to the charity, no later than 30 June 2025
    • I understand that the registration fee of £50 is non-refundable and should be paid within 30 days of confirmation of my place, unless arrangements have been made with the PSPA Fundraising Team
    • I agree to set up a JustGiving (preferred) or Enthuse fundraising page to support my challenge. The use of GoFundMe is not permitted
    • If unable to take part, I will inform PSPA at my earliest opportunity
    • I confirm that I will be 18 years old, or over, on race day.
    • I understand that I will need to attend The Running Show in London ahead of race day, to collect my race pack.
    • If successful in obtaining a PSPA charity place I pledge to wear a PSPA running top.
    • I am taking part in this activity entirely at my own risk. I, therefore, do not hold PSPA or any of its representatives responsible for an injury or loss that might occur as a result of my participation
    • Please note that photos or videos submitted to PSPA ahead of the race, or taken on race day itself, may be used across PSPA Media (magazine, socials, etc) unless requested not to

    There is no cost to join #TeamPSPA if you have your own place. For those allocated a charity place, the entry fee is £50 with your pledge to raise at least £1,950.
